Santa Caterina Valfurva, freedom at high altitude
Marco Confortola, internationally renowned mountaineer, mountain guide and trainer, takes us on a tour of one of the most beautiful and scenic peaks in Alta Valtellina.
Thanks to the ascent by cable car up to 2,700 m, it will be possible to tackle the hike to the top of Sobretta with gradients and difficulties that are not too challenging and therefore suitable for everyone.
Under the guidance of Marco Confortola, the hike will be a unique experience full of anecdotes and advice, a day to enjoy together to fall more and more in love with the Mountains!
Program
8:30 a.m. ascent by gondola lift St. Catherine – Vallalpe
9 a.m. briefing and group organization c/o Sunny Valley Mountain Lodge
9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. hike to the summit of Mount Sobretta (round trip + return) picnic lunch along the way
3 p.m. – 4 p.m. c/o Sunny Valley Mountain Lodge – snack prepared by Sunny’s Chefs, short convivial time with Marco, presentation of the book “Beyond the Peak”
